How to Fund Your Home Care
Families are often concerned about how much home care services cost and what their financial options are for payment. Fortunately, there are many resources available to help families with in-home care expenses.
At Interim HealthCare of Central Georgia, we are dedicated making quality care widely accessible, which is why we accept these payment sources:
Medicaid
Medicaid is a joint state and federal program that provides health coverage to seniors with low income and limited assets. Benefits are administered on a state level, so eligibility requirements and covered services can differ greatly.
Private Pay
Private pay means an individual or their family will use existing savings and assets to cover the cost of care services.
VA (Tricare)
Tricare is a health care program that provides civilian health benefits for U.S Armed Forces military personnel, military retirees, and their dependents. Basic in-home care authorized under Tricare includes skilled nursing care; home health aide services; physical, speech and occupational therapy; and medical social services.
VetAssist Program
Our VetAssist Program helps veterans, or their surviving spouses, apply for a little-known Department of Veterans Affairs benefit to pay for assistance with activities of daily living.
Wellcare
WellCare Health Plans, Inc. provides managed care services primarily through Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Drug plans for members across the United States.
Long Term Care Plans
Long-term care involves a variety of services designed to meet a person's health or personal care needs so they can live as independently and safely as possible. Most long-term care is provided at home by unpaid family members and friends, and the additional support of a care aide.
